Village rebates and Charity donations

Agricole has many village buying groups/syndicates.

Village syndicates qualify for the Agricole annual Village Charitable donation.

Some are formal groups; All villagers buying on a certain day.

Some are very informal;  Members of the village  just order when they require a fill up  the ‘Village’ has overtly sent details to all its parishioners explaining the virtues of the Agricole Oil service.

Martin Davies, chair of the Restoration  Committee said, “Many thanks indeed for coming along to Gransden Windmill last week and for your kind donation of Agricole Oil’s Village Rebate towards the windmill restoration costs….we appreciate just how valuable every contribution is to enable these ancient symbols of our rural history to be conserved. QUIZ THANK YOU

A huge thanks to all who took part in our quiz on 18th November, in aid of playground maintenance and provision for a youth club in the village. A thoroughly enjoyable evening with excellent community spirit which helped to raise a wonderful £520! We have since received a very kind and generous £200 donation towards the playground and youth group fundraising from Agricole, which brings our total to a fantastic £720.

Huge thanks must also go to our amazing Quiz Master, Trevor Peer, and to our young helpers, Ollie, Alice, Joanna, Edward and Mansi. Also hugely appreciated is the sterling effort of those who worked tirelessly behind the scenes and those who very kindly donated the extremely generous raffle prizes: Knibbs Butchers, Lalbagh, Agricole, The Stove, Bourn4Hair, and Cambourne Vehicle Services, along with members of the community. And finally, a very, very big thanks to JJ and Nimisha for providing a delicious curry and to the village shop and staff in general for supplies and much appreciated support.

Hi Jeremy

Thanks you so much for the donation to Barrington Archive.
We have decided to use the money to buy a paper cutter and display materials that will help us put together our planned exhibition in September. We will also use part of the money to have two maps scanned, joined and encapsulated so that they can be shared with the village and to look after our collection of maps we buy some form of storage for them.
Thanks again for the donation
